We have a team of highly experienced instructors. They have expertise in all facets of firearms and safety. They embrace the mission of Sheepdog Warrior and more importantly to promote safety, a prepared mindset to deal with adversity and developing skills . We will also periodically have visiting instructors that will bring new ideas and specialties.

INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHIES
Peter Segreti started his career in law enforcement in 1985 with the New York City Police Department. In 1996 he was assigned to the Emergency Service Unit conducting high risk special operations for the NYPD citywide. Pete was a primary instructor for the Emergency Service Unit for 12 years. He developed numerous training programs that included Basic and Advanced SWAT, Advanced Firearms Training, Active Shooter, Hostage Rescue, Ballistic shield deployments, Tubular assaults, Dignitary protection, Counter Assault Team tactics and Advanced Sniper training. He is a NYSDCJS certified Firearms and general topics instructor and holds many other certifications. He has participated in the creation of the New York State DCJS SWAT and SNIPER training standards. Pete was also assigned to the FBI Joint Terrorist Task Force in 2012 and then retired from NYPD in 2013. Currently he is a part time member of the Putnam County NY Sheriff’s Department conducting Special Operations training and Special Patrol functions. Pete instructs a variety of courses for the Department of Homeland Security. He is an Instructor and member of the NRA and the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors
Edward Rivenburg started his career in Law Enforcement in 1981 with NYS Dept. Of Correctional Services, 1989 Town of Hunter Police department, 1991 City of Hudson Police department until 2009 at which time He retired at the rank of Detective. During his career He served as Patrol officer, K-9 Patrol officer, Narcotics Detective, Team Leader of SWAT Team, and held a team Sniper position. Rivenburg was also cross designated with New York State Police CNET, and a member of the Columbia County Narcotics Task Force. Instructed Rapid Response to Active Shooter Situations with the Columbia County Sheriffs Department .While at Hudson Police he developed the Standard Operating Procedures and training for the SWAT team and Sniper Team.
